Putting our youth first

Youth

Welcome to the AGBU’s youth page. This page is for everyone aged 16-40.

Every young person has different needs, depending on their age, interests, life circumstance and many other factors. However, all youth have one thing in common: the desire to learn, to grow, to contribute and to find new ways of thinking and doing.

Armenian-Australian youth have even more in common with each other. They all face the same tough questions, some of which are unique to us as Armenians, including:

 Who am I?

 What is an Armenian?

How should I relate to my parents?

 What is my life purpose?

How can I develop my skills?

 What career should I choose?

 Whom should I marry?

You are invited!

The AGBU Sydney Chapter is organising a series of interactive, informative workshops, seminars and forums in October-December that will tackle some of these questions.

Youth survey

Over the past 6 months, an Armenian Youth Survey has been distributed to individuals and community organisations in Sydney. Through this Survey, we have discovered some interesting things about Sydney’s Armenian youth. For more information about this Survey, click here
